Virtual Academic Center

Our Virtual Academic Center offers the Master of Social Work degree online, making a USC education accessible no matter where you live. The MSW@USC mirrors the academic rigor of the school’s onsite program, offering a way to earn the same degree through an accredited MSW online program. The MSW@USC admissions standards, graduation requirements and coursework are also identical to the on-campus program.

We pair innovative web-based courses taught by USC faculty in real-time over the Internet with traditional, hands-on field instruction in your local community for a stimulating academic experience that rivals the best “physically located” MSW programs.  Learning in our virtual environment allows you to communicate with professors and peers – from all over the country – via live webcam discussions and custom-designed social-networking tools that function like Facebook.
