About
Skirball Cultural Center

The USC School of Social Work offers a fully accredited MSW evening degree program at the Skirball Cultural Center for both full-time and part-time students living and working in the San Fernando Valley and West Los Angeles areas. Afternoon and night classes Monday through Thursday accommodate employed professionals and students with family considerations. While students can complete all foundation courses at Skirball, the program requires some concentration courses to be taken at the University Park campus.

Why Skirball?

  • Late afternoon and evening classes allow busy students to balance the pursuit of an MSW with commitments at work and home.

  • Conveniently located daytime internships make it easy to complete field hours and gain real-world experience.

  • Small and intimate by design, students thrive in a close-knit, collegial environment where they can work closely with classmates and faculty alike.

  • Leadership opportunities presiding over caucuses, managing fundraisers, organizing social activities or publishing newsletters help build resumes and encourage teamwork.

  • Enjoy access to the academic resources of a world-class research institution and the culture offerings of a world-class arts and entertainment venue.

  • Free parking saves money and time.

Same Program, Different Location

Students enrolled in the Skirball program are assured the same high quality education and experience as their peers attending classes full-time at University Park.

  • Same admission requirements
  • Same curriculum
  • Same faculty
  • Same electronic library access
  • Student leadership opportunities
  • Lifelong Trojan Family alumni network
