1. USC GRADUATE ADMISSION APPLICATION
The USC Graduate Admission Office has developed an online application system that allows you to login anytime to continue your application and track your application status. For the GMSW program, you must upload the Statement of Purpose and a resumé to the online application (see below for more instructions). 2. SUPPLEMENTAL FORM: SOCIAL WORK (MSW)
A required part of the online Graduate Admission Application is the Supplemental Form: Social Work. These additional questions provide the School of Social Work with information specific to the MSW program. * Question #6: Please choose the Global MSW option.

3. RESUMÉ
You must upload a resumé to the Employment Information section of the online Graduate Admission Application. The School of Social Work requires a resumé that specifically highlights your social work-related experience. Please print out the "MSW Resumé Instructions" for content requirements.

4.STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
You must upload a Statement of Purpose to the Supporting Documents section of the online Graduate Admission Application. The School of Social Work requires a Statement of Purpose that specifically addresses your motivation in seeking an MSW. Please print out the "MSW Statement of Purpose Instructions" for a list of guiding questions. In addition to the questions listed in the Application for Admission, please answer the following question: The new Global MSW degree prepares students for new leadership roles in human services and evolving areas such as corporate social responsibility, social enterprise and globalization of non-profit organizations. Share how your experience and skills will be incorporated into this new degree.

5.RECOMMENDATIONS
You are required to submit a minimum of two recommendations; a third recommendation is optional. Preferred recommendations are those that come from academic instructors or professionals who have supervised you in a social work-related position (paid, volunteer or internship). Personal recommendations are not acceptable.

Recommendations must be submitted online through the online Graduate Admission Application. Each recommender must have a valid email address and internet access in order to use the online recommendation system. If your recommender strongly prefers to submit a paper form or letter, please contact the USC School of Social Work Office of Admission for instructions.

6.ACADEMIC RECORDS
The USC Graduate Admission Office requires an official academic record from each post-secondary school you have attended. We recommend that you use the cover page below to ensure your transcript is correctly identified. Please mail these documents to the USC Graduate Admission Office (address is on form). 7. EVIDENCE OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT

8. TOEFL SCORES
Students whose native language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and submit their scores. The Admissions Committee will review TOEFL scores and assess these students’ English proficiency. We require a total score of 100 on the Internet-based test, with no less than 20 on each of the four test components. You must have taken the TOEFL test within the last two years.
