Getting Started

Approximately 90 percent of our MSW students receive some form of financial aid. Options for financial aid include federal loans, work study funds, scholarships and stipends.

To ensure maximum financial aid eligibility, complete all financial aid documents by the deadlines, regardless of your admission status.

It is important to navigate the School of Social Work website in addition to the USC Financial Aid Office (FAO) website to ensure you receive the most comprehensive financial aid information.

The School of Social Work website will provide you with the details of applying for financial aid, understanding your financial aid award and properly securing all of your loans. The USC FAO website will provide you with dates and deadlines, as well as downloadable forms to complete your financial aid application.

If you have questions, please call us or visit the contact page on the USC Financial Aid Office website.
