Rosemary Alamo

ROSEMARY ALAMO has 20 years of experience in social work serving children and families, especially in school settings. She has spent much of her career ensuring the well-being and mental health of youth. As a counselor and psychiatric social worker for the Los Angeles Unified School District, Alamo has provided individual, family and group counseling, as well as crisis intervention and home visits for at-risk students. At the nonprofit Legacy L.A., Alamo worked with at-risk female youth, conducting social skills groups and facilitating parent workshops. She has also spent time serving the populations at Para Los Ninos, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Miller's Children's Hospital Long Beach, among many others.
