Concentrations
The second half of the curriculum, or your concentration year, builds on the general social work knowledge you obtained in the first year by offering advanced courses in five concentrations and five optional sub-concentrations. You will select a specialized area of study that focuses on your career interests and helps you gain in-depth knowledge in a particular method, population or area of service:
- Community Organization, Planning and Administration (COPA)
- Families and Children
- Health
- Mental Health
- Social Work and Business in a Global Society
All concentrations require a field placement in addition to specialized coursework.
