Equipped with Tyvek suits, goggles and face masks, 22 graduate students from the USC Schools of Social Work and Policy, Planning, and Development spent their spring break in New Orleans, toiling in a region still trying to recover in the wake of last year's Hurricane Katrina. Instead of partying and relaxing, it was a week of reflection and hard, physical labor.
