Professor Michalle Mor Barak has won the 2007 George Terry Book Award from the Academy of Management, making her the first USC author to earn the prestigious honor. She received the accolade for Managing Diversity: Toward a Globally Inclusive Workplace, which judges deemed this year’s most outstanding contribution to the advancement of management.

Marc Williams was heartbroken to see teenage hookers throwing themselves at men in the red light district of Subic Bay. One was in high school, prostituting to support her family. A bar owner forced another to have sex with men. Williams was there to interview these victims of human trafficking and show them another way to go – all part of a social work course in the Philippines.
