The Center for the Inclusive Workplace (Linking Families, Communities, and Work Organizations), located at the University of Southern California School of Social Work, is dedicated to understanding and improving the fit between workers and their work organizations. The Center is experienced in workplace-based research and interventions having implemented other programs in culturally heterogeneous work environments. Completed projects include:
- Diversity and Inclusion Among TRW Employees. Ongoing consultation and research based on a 1996 TRW Diversity Survey.
- USC Welfare Reform Neighborhood Impact Project. The impact of welfare reform on welfare recipients is being assessed as they transition to employment.
- Diversity and Inclusion Among the Social Service Work Force in the U.K. Analysis of data collected by the National Institute of Social Work in London on the social service workforce in the U.K.
- Israeli High Tech Company Employee Study. Collaboration with Bar-Ilan University in Israel utilizing the Center's workplace inclusion framework at a high tech company.
