LAUREL DAVIS has more than 20 years of experience in field education, having served on both the agency and higher education sides. In addition to her role as clinical assistant professor, Davis is also a field coordinator working to place students in the school's Virtual Academic Center in hands-on social work internships. She is also currently director of clinical education at Seminole Behavioral Healthcare, where she develops and oversees the agency's university relationships to cultivate undergraduate and graduate student interns. Davis was previously a field coordinator with the University of Central Florida School of Social Work and has an extensive background in mental health and substance abuse treatment.
