Sarah Caliboso-Soto is an associate teaching professor in practicum education and assistant director of clinical programs at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. In addition to teaching practicum courses, Professor Caliboso-Soto has taught research, policy and diversity courses both on campus and in the Virtual Academic Center. 
She has worked as a licensed clinical social worker in Los Angeles for the past 20 years, and provided direct services to the children, youth and families of South Los Angeles. She has also led the development and implementation of various community-based programs, including a 0-5 assessment and intervention and an intensive program working with the chronically mentally ill and transitional aged youth.
Professor Caliboso-Soto is the clinic director of the Telebehavioral Health Clinic at USC, providing short-term, evidence-based treatment for individuals seeking mental health services. She oversees the clinical operations and the training of MSW interns. In addition to providing behavioral health services to the community, the clinic serves as a placement for MSW students. In her role as clinical director, Professor Caliboso-Soto has assisted in securing funding for the clinic from FEMA, Monterey County Behavioral Health, Queenscare, and the California Victims Compensation Board.
In 2o22, Professor Caliboso-Soto earned a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership. The title of her dissertation was Compassion Fatigue Among Social Work Students: A Gap Analysis. Her other research interests are focused on telebehavioral health and closing the health gap for underserved children and families.
