AMELIA ROESCHLEIN is a psychotherapist who currently runs a co-occurring disorders program for the University of California, San Diego, Outpatient Psychiatry Department. She delivers clinical care and assists in training psychiatrists, marriage and family therapists, and social workers on site.
She has taught at USC for the past three years, and has a private practice. Amelia worked on her undergraduate degree at Metropolitan State University of Denver, and attended graduate school through National University receiving a Master of Counseling Psychology. She attended a fellowship at the San Diego Psychoanalytic Society & Institute, is a current fellow and clinical supervisor for American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and has received intensive training in dialectical behavior therapy and mentalization-based therapy. Her prior clinical focus has been working with personality and attachment issues, mental health and substance abuse issues, sexual compulsivity disorders, and oppositional defiance issues.
