    Whether precipitated by school, work or personal relationships, stress is nearly ubiquitous to the day-to-day of adult life. While a very low level of stress may contribute to your productivity, letting it build up can wreak havoc on your mental and physical health, exposing you to a host of complications that are easily preventable.

  • Pineda walks us through the ins and outs of this initiative to ensure military children experience seamless academic transitions.

    Too often, the sacrifices and obstacles of military children go unrecognized. These children move with their families every one to three years on average, and are likely to attend anywhere from six to nine schools between kindergarten and their senior year of high school.

  • This year, the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work will graduate nearly 900 students. Among those participating in Commencement on May 12, 2017, are Delphie Morales, Sophay Duch, Dexter Egleston and Janice Boafo. Each has a different story to tell, but they are ones that allow them to better connect with the vulnerable populations they will be helping as professional social workers.
